AviClear Laser Acne Treatment

AviClear is an advanced laser treatment designed to address acne at its source. With more than 12,000 treatments performed commercially, Estheva is pleased to introduce AviClear to the clinic as part of our range of evidence based skin treatments.

AviClear Laser Therapy for Acne

Unlike many traditional acne treatments that focus on managing symptoms, AviClear works by targeting one of the key causes of acne within the skin. The treatment uses a specific wavelength of light energy to act on the sebaceous glands, helping to reduce the production of excess oil that contributes to breakouts. The technology has been developed to be safe and effective for all skin types and skin tones.

AviClear offers a non invasive approach to treating acne and can help patients achieve clearer skin without the need for long term medication or complex skincare routines.

Timescales

Most patients follow a course of three AviClear treatment sessions. Each session lasts around 30 minutes and appointments are typically spaced approximately one month apart.

This treatment protocol has been designed to deliver the most effective results while allowing the skin time to respond between sessions.

The Procedure

AviClear is a medical laser treatment that can be used to treat mild, moderate and severe acne. The system uses award winning technology designed specifically for acne management and is suitable for a wide range of skin types.

The treatment works beneath the surface of the skin to target the underlying causes of acne rather than only addressing visible symptoms.

AviClear uses light based laser technology to target the sebaceous glands in the skin. These glands produce sebum, an oily substance that helps protect the skin but can also contribute to clogged pores and acne when produced in excess. The laser operates at a precise wavelength of 1726 nm which allows it to selectively target the sebaceous glands while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. By down regulating the activity of these glands, the treatment can reduce oil production and help limit the conditions that allow acne to develop.

Costs

The AviClear course is £1500 and finance is available
