Tear Trough Fillers

advanced divider

The tear trough is the area between your cheek and lower eyelid. As we age, we lose volume in this area, causing under-eye dark circles, hollows, and eye bags to appear. An effective tear trough treatment is to inject dermal filler into this area – restoring the lost volume and reducing the appearance of dark circles and hollows.

Questions Answered
How do they work?

The dermal fillers we use are made from hyaluronic acid – a substance that occurs naturally in the body. By injecting dermal filler under the eyes and under-eye hollows, we fill the volume lost by ageing – lightening dark circles, filling under eye hollows and wrinkles. The treatment also improves skin quality by boosting collagen production and hydrating the skin from the inside.

Does it hurt?

We use topical anaesthetic during the procedure, making the treatment as comfortable as possible. There is also local anaesthetic in the fillers that we use which also helps.

What brands do you use?

The product we use is Teoxane Redensity 2 which is award winning and THE only product licensed to treat the tear trough.
